Our goal this time around is to run a safe, smart tour and still put on the best possible show at every tour stop - as always, a show chock full of classic sounds, vintage style, and extraordinary talent. Our cast’s experience on the road is probably going to be closer to being an astronaut than a rockstar. That means there won’t be the usual level of random guest appearances, pulling audience members onstage, or serenading folks in the front row up close and personal.
We will be running a ‘bubble’ tour, which means the folks on the bus will have close contact with each other during tour, and no one else. We’re doing everything in our power to ensure that our cast and crew stays healthy and COVID-free during this Fall tour, and in practice, that means that the cast and crew will be sacrificing quite a lot - in addition to giving 110% on stage. Obviously, these have been and remain challenging times for us all, and the difficulty of mounting a successful tour right now certainly reflects this. We are beyond excited to launch our Grand Reopening World Tour and see our fans and friends in cities far and wide, for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic forced us off the road in March of 2020.
